Castle

        For this project I started to think about what object I'm gonna use first so I went through the old stuff and tried to find a object that is a little complex so I found a old version of Power drill and I started to measure it. Because it was old I had to change just some part of it for having a better design at the end. I started to draw the Drill handle from the front view and started with drawing a circles first from the very small one to the bigger ones. for the next step I started to draw the handle from the side view separately, and drew two circles at the end of my lines to use the sweep two. Then I went back to the top parts that I drew first and I used sweep 2 again for the parts that started form smaller diameter to bigger diameter of circle and I used extrude for the circles that were the same size, to make a solid shapes and what ever left not as a solid I used cap for them.            For this Assignment I started to use different shades of grey to see what 's gonna be the depth of different shades while I'm using laser cut machine for engraving. After that I cut out my design for the surface design assignment. 

  Surface Design photo research and Ideas Assignment 2:           For this assignment I started to draw some lines from realistic photo to minimal and abstract shapes. Which is interesting that I can make different patterns from it, Also, I can use this design for anything like window design or stickers or coffee table design or even for the counter top. In This Assignment I inspired by the architecture design and how they are 3d and part of the challenge is to think of a design which is 3d as a flat sheet or flat surface or change a photo that has perspective to a quite flat surface. I really enjoyed to do that and I 'll do that in future with different architecture designs as well and  flatten them to get a new pattern to use for surfaces.                        Then I started to add some colours to my shapes with the Hatch tool in put each shape in a different layer of colour. my favourite ...

    For this model I started to draw two circles for the castle area then I added pentagons and started to extrude all of them to have a object for the ground and the columns, then I used array to have 4 objects similar to each other around the circle, after that I drew different pentagons for the other half and changed the design a little bit and used array to have the same object around the circle again, once I finished the body of the castle I started to drew the pyramids on top of the columns with different measurement. and for making it secure I added some loops in between the columns and for the middle of the castle area I was thinking about a little yard so I drew a fountain. In this exercise the challenge was extruding a pentagons because of the sharp edges that it has when I was extruding them extra open surfaces showed up and I had lots of extra surfaces which was messy at the end and I had to go though every single of them and delete them.I also tried the render my ...
